Welcome to agricolus.de.

My name is Marcus Bauer and you just entered my private website. The English section is rather slim, most of the content is in German. Yet, this page links you to the various sections, thus giving you some idea what this all is about.

At the reception all general information is available: Who am I, how to contact me and which organisations and platforms convinced me to sign up for a membership. Moreover, a sitemap is available.

The fotokiste section contains photographs: thematic albums, as well as location wise selections.

tagebücher
is linking to various blogs that I contribute(d) to, like the agricolus-blog, weltmeisterer, the tourismLOG...

The archiv files some of the writing stuff I have produced.

tourismus
is packed with whatever I find noticable about that huge complex topic. Some content is in English, just leaf around for it.

heimatkunde
is my observing eye on the areas that I live/d in: first, the tiny state of Saarland in Germany's south-west, and there the scenic Bliesgau - a landscape beautiful enough to sport the title of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Berlin has a lot of charming areas, with Weddingbeing our dearest. Then Vienna's West, the area between the Wien-Fluss to Wiener-Wald, or in other words from Schloss Schönbrunn to Schloss Wilhelminenberg.

Last not least, familie is introducing our little family with a lot of pix. The kinderkram contains resources that we found to be quite useful helpers for education.

If you like what you see there, perhaps you'd like to come and stay with us. How about experiencing a friendly family homestay in Vienna?
